The adventures of Alvin, Simon, and Theodore as the Chipmunks provided laughs for many years. People who grew up after that might remember watching characters such as Angelica Pickles from the Rugrats. Later generations may have enjoyed the newer and different characters such as Beavis and Butt-head. Modern cartoon characters often display different personalities than some of the early shows with silly characters. The adventures of Bart and Homer Simpson stand out as one of the best examples.
