This contributes to each game becoming an event. The results are rabid fans and billions of dollars for the league. Baseball and basketball are both popular as well, with hockey trailing far behind. College sports are extremely popular as well. The annual “March Madness” of college basketball is enjoyed by millions of fans. The college football season, ending with many of the bowl games also has a lot of dedicated fans. Individual sports such as Tennis and Golf have their own strong fan base as well.
