Still, finding comedy that is appropriate for children that is considered “clean” is not easy. There are always some television programs and movies that are considered “clean.” It just takes a little work to find them. An internet search will find websites that rate television and movie content based on suitability for the whole family. As far as stand-up comedians go there are still some that don’t rely on obscenity. Some of the names are familiar. Bill Cosby and Jerry Seinfeld have always been known for intelligent clean humor in their acts. Jim Gaffigan and Bill Engvall are two lesser known, but still successful comics that work “clean.”
