Several French film stars have made their way to the United States to act in American films. Examples include Catherine Deneuve and Gerard Depardieu. Many other European countries including England and Spain have respected film traditions as well. India is another country with a great tradition of making films. The Bollywood style of filmmaking has found fans in America as well as other countries around the world. One source of great films that often gets overlooked is China. China consistently makes some of the best films in the world. Foreign films may be challenging to find, but many of them are worth the effort.
