Previews are an excellent way for movie studios to build anticipation for their products. For the general public they represent an opportunity to get a longer look at clips from a film than they are likely to see in a television commercial. There are other options available for those who would like to preview films before they are released. Most new and upcoming films have websites dedicated to promoting the film and there are usually previews to view on the site.
