Actually, the most famous radio broadcast was one that people thought was a news broadcast but was in fact Orson Welles adaptation of H.G. Wells book, The War of the Worlds. Welles broadcast was so convincing that many people believed that the tale of Martians invading Earth was actually happening. There were some radio broadcasts of real news events that are historical and compelling. Two of the best are the description of the Hindenburg disaster and Winston Churchill’s famous speech during World War II.
