Soaps are known for their convoluted plots involving bizarre relationships. Soap Operas are considered to be great training for actors because they film new scenes every day. The list of actors and actresses who started in the genre is impressive. Names such as Alec Baldwin, Warren Beatty, Robert DeNiro, Dustin Hoffman, Kevin Kline, Meg Ryan, and Demi Moore all started their careers in soap operas. That’s some list. Maybe we should have a little more respect for soap operas after all.
