More palatable to outsiders is the Scottish beef which can make flavorful steaks and the Scottish version of smoked salmon. One area in which no one disputes the quality of Scottish cuisine is the quality of the whiskey. Scotch whiskey is widely considered the finest in the world and has many devoted fans. The food may not be for everyone, but the drink makes up for it.
