The Breeders Cup is a more recent event that features different races with horses of all ages. While thoroughbred racing is the most popular type, it isn’t the only option. Some people enjoy harness racing, which involves the horse pulling a driver sitting in a cart. Harness racing features standardbred horses that run in a controlled style known as “trotting.”
