The fantasy teams are scored based on the real world performance in NFL games of the players that have been selected. Just like in professional sports, players can be traded or exchanged at any time. The leagues may operate based on weekly head to head matches or on a total compilation of points for the year. Either way, fantasy football keeps millions of people glued to their televisions and the internet to find and compare all relevant statistics.
