As long as the participants wear the proper safety gear paintball is not dangerous. Most important is protection for the eyes. Paintball is often popular with groups of people. Events ranging from birthday parties to corporate retreats take place at paintball fields. Sometimes they take place in indoor environments and sometimes in large elaborate outdoor environments. Sometimes the course is simple and other times it can be bizarre futuristic environments.
