Those playing racquetball for the first time are often taken aback by the speed and unpredictability of the game. The ball, which is made of hard rubber can go anywhere at any time. And it goes fast. New players will often feel like the proverbial duck in a shooting gallery with the ball flying everywhere. Once people become familiar with the game they tend to love it. It’s a great workout and very challenging. There are professional racquetball players and events, but for most people it’s just for recreation.
