Squash is a sport that is played on an indoor court with a racquet. It is sometimes confused with racquetball because the courts and racquets look similar, but in fact, the games are very different. Squash is much more popular in Europe while racquetball is more popular in the U.S. Some have pointed out that Squash is more in keeping with the formality of Europe while racquetball reflects American culture more with its anything goes format. Whether one subscribes to this theory or not, both sports provide a great workout and a challenging competition.
