Apple didn’t want to be left out of portable video either, so the iPod touch added that capability. Apple may be the industry leader, but the options for great portable audio and video are hardly limited to one company. Satellite radio is a fantastic technology that gives us hundreds of radio stations in our cars at any time. Many cars also come with television monitors and DVD players so the kids (or adults) can watch movies whenever they want. Another option that many people use for portable audio and video is the laptop computer, which typically contains all of our music and the ability to play DVD’s as well.
