For many of us who spend large parts of the day on the phone the headset is an invaluable tool. It is difficult (and possibly unsafe) to hold a cell phone up to our ear for long periods of time. Headsets allow us to speak while driving a car without the distraction and danger of having to hold the phone. Most may be either wired or wireless. The wireless type usually uses Bluetooth technology to pair with the cellphone. Headsets are also useful for computer based communications such as Skype. For that purpose we need a headset that either plugs into the sound card or connects via USB. If the computer has Bluetooth we should be able to use that headset as well.
