There are no parts of the computer that are more important than the CPU and the motherboard. When purchasing computer parts individually they sometimes are bundled together, but are often purchased separately. The motherboard is the main circuit board that important parts of the computer such as the CPU, memory, hard drive, and peripheral devices are connected to. Devices either slot or plug into specific designated areas of the board. The CPU is the brain of the computer that performs the processing logic functions for the system. It tells the parts of the system what to do. The biggest and most famous maker of CPU’s is Intel.
