We have all received the … Keep Reading → spam emails claiming we won some money and just need to contact a bank in Nigeria; or in the UK. Scams are a regular part of the internet. Most genuine searches that we conduct when looking for information will also yield some ads from sites trying to sell us something. Are they legitimate? It can be very hard to tell. There are always advertisements for get rich quick schemes and work at home and make a lot of money scams. Caveat Emptor is always a good policy, but on the internet it is essential. If it seems too good to be true, it almost certainly is.
