Google started in 1996 and within a few years, it was Google that was king of the search engine hill. The job of the search engine is simple; but the processes that make it run effectively are very complex. Search engines are designed to give us information about websites related to the keywords that we search for. They employ complicated formulas to best determine what it is we are looking for based on the words we use. The search results are dynamic and can change from search to search. Google is the unquestioned leader among search engines with Yahoo a very distant second. In the world of the internet we know that things can change quickly.
