USB is another type of protocol. Every time we connect a device to our computer via USB cable we are using the protocol to transfer that data. One of the most important protocols that many of us may not be familiar with is called TCP/IP. Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol is the method of data transmission that allows us to connect to the internet. We may not understand how TCP/IP or other protocols work, but every time we use our computer we rely on them.
