Wireless networks can be any network of computers that is connected without wires. It is very simple to have wireless networks of computers sharing information and resources that has nothing to do with the internet. Every time we talk on our cell phone we are accessing yet another type of wireless network. Wireless networks offer the opportunity to expand communication channels beyond areas that are able to connect with wires. We don’t think about it much, but we rely on the technology every day.
