Using a product such as bamboo, which is considered to be a renewable resource because it grows so quickly, is not only a beautiful choice aesthetically, but it is very kind to the environment. The cabinets that we use in our kitchens and bathrooms are another choice where we can go green. Cabinets often use chemicals and other products that are unhealthy for us to breathe as well as bad for the environment. Choosing those that use gentler materials is again good for us as well as the environment. It’s good to do a bit of research and talk to a home improvement expert before tackling a project. This will provide the education needed to make the best choices for the environment; and for our health.
