Some of the Strangest Houses in the World

All the Different Houses...

Most of us know the story of Hansel and Gretel. Two poor children are lost in the woods and stumble upon a house made of candy with sugar windows. As kids we probably dreamed about finding a cool house like this-minus the crazy kid-eating witch who lives inside.

Maybe we don't dream about living in candy houses anymore, but we're still fascinated with houses that step out of the ordinary. Here's a few to make you gawk, chuckle, or make you really glad that even if you don't live in a mansion, you don't live there!

Ah, I know the toilet shaped home - that's in S. Korea. I lived in S. Korea and there is even a commissioner of toilets. You see they believe that every Korean has the right to have access to toilets when out in public. So on that great subway system in Seoul - all the train stations have toilets (with many stalls) for women and for men. It was wonderful - we could drink water and tea and coffee and not worry when we traveled by subway.

I live in NYC and in our vast subway system you will be hard pressed to find a usable toilet.

Enjoyed all the homes!
