Backpack Chairs - For the Beach or the Park

The first time I saw a backpack chair was on a trip in Mexico; I was sitting on one of those uncomfortable hotel lounge chairs. The people next to me just got up folded up their chairs and voila, all of a sudden the chairs were backpacks.

I wish I had one of those back then, it would have saved me quite a bit of money (renting chairs every day gets expensive), on top of that a backpack chair has a couple of nice added on bonuses, but getting a backpack chair in Mexico was impossible, I would advise you to get one before you go on a trip.

Which Chair is Right for You?

Choose a backpack chair that fits your needs. I picked one that had a footrest, which could be turned into a table ideal for holding snacks or drinks. I didn’t use the table very much but the footrest was nice, and the chair comfortable enough to take a siesta.

If you must have your drinks cold at all times I would definitely go for the backpack chair with a cooler, if you are travelling with a companion you may get one cooler chair and one with a footrest or a canopy and get some shade anywhere, anytime.

I selected the chairs on this page because they are comfortable, they have a very specific purpose, they are affordable and trendy enough to make you look cool!

Those chairs look relaxing! I never really thought of a cooler on the chair, just a side one - really good idea there!

Hi thranax, thanks for stopping by, I love my backpack chair because it is so easy to carry back and forth; the cooler is a really nice bonus!
