Beach Days

I'll follow the Sun till day is done. Down to the Beach, cell phone out of reach. Book in hand, waves at my feet, the smell of the air, brushing my hair.....I smile and stare, and feel peace within, as I follow the Sun. by b. Malin

MORE BEACH THOUGHTS

The Beach on a Perfect Day. The Sky so Blue, so High, so Cloudless....The Oceans "Mystical Sounds" as it hits the shore, begging to lick your thighs with it's wet spray once more, and shamelessly You Love It, as you jump the waves asking for more! Later you're back on your blanket, wet and content, surrounded by other bodies, offering themselves up to the Sun, that glorious Sun. For the Tan, the Perfect Tan. But for you, the Sun, just feels so Good, and makes you feel So ALIVE! No thinking...only Enjoying this moment, and all those Rays, those Wonderful Rays!

Tomorrow, tomorrow it's back to the grind, the everyday stuff that at this very moment seems so unimportant, until you look at your watch, and reality ticks in. AND SO...you pack up, taking one last look at the Ocean and it's vastness....and for a moment, you think you hear, no,You Could Swear You Hear, as the waves pound the shore once more , Hurry Back, Please come Back, and you smile to yourself, as you kick the sand, as you head towards you car, planning in your mind, which day, to take a Personal Day Once More.

Lovely memories of the beach and personal days. I remember working at a bank and a coworker and I called in sick and spent the day at the beach. Our sunburns were difficult to explain away. Ah, but what fun.

You have captured a leisurely day at the beach well with your descriptions. The relentless waves and salt air does seem to melt cares away on those glorious sun kissed days at the beach.

Walking a Beach seems to take the worries of the day away. I never want to be Far from a Beach. Thanks for Enjoying the "Kyra's" Artwork as well.
