I have been to San Sebastian, great place for a vacation. Will have to try some of the other beaches next time I go to Spain.

Hi,

great hub, definetly the best beaches are in the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands and may be northern Spain but a bit cooler up there. And Formentera certainly looks like the Caribean, wonderfull place

Hi, great hub, however, you should also mention the Playa de Monsul in the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata - Nijar in Almeria (Andalusia, Southern Spain). This is where Steven Spielberg left his footstep. If you right click on my name you'll find out more...

Gandia is not on the Costa Brava. The picture you have is from Tossa de Mar, in Girona.

For such a small country, Spain has an amazing array of beautiful beaches. The trick is finding ones that aren't completely crowded!
