As you peruse the menu, you are able to dine on tasty bread, which you can dip into an olive oil base mix with your choice of three delicious flavorings. This delicious appetizer is very addictive.

The atmosphere is by far the best part of the Bob. It has four floors. The main floor guides you to an upscale feel where you can eat at their steakhouse with a fine dining feel! This floor is dedicated for having a good time. Further in, past the bar, you can dance with your friends, get a drink, and enjoy your time. If you are looking for a quieter place where you can talk, you can venture downstairs to the lower level, also known as the monkey bar. Don't be turned off by it's crazy name, it is an Asian inspired private seating area, which is set up reminiscent of a giant coffee shop with sofas and comfortable chairs.

On the third floor, known as Bobarino's, is a great place to eat while watching live entertainment! They choose all kind of live entertainment from jazz, retro, country among many others, where you can listen to outdoors. In the dining room they have all the best sporting events on their large plasma televisions! The fourth floor has a great stage where they often have great shows such as comedians and other great acts! Although it is rated #55 on tripadvisor.com, it is by far a great place with a great array of entertainment, as well as good food!

The Chop House, Grand Rapids

The Chop House is a very elegant steak house which only serves grain fed meat and the finest wine. They have both private dining, as well as event planning. Private dining is perfect for business luncheons, meetings, rehearsal dinners, or any other special event. There are audio and visual fees if necessary. Their rooms range from seating for people between 20 and 40 guests. Steak is not their only specialty, but they pay especial attention to the wine they serve. They make a commitment to have wine from all over the world!

Garnetbird, I wish I could go to Cali and eat, then I could spend time with some of my favorite people. I think dinner is only truly good with good friends. :)

Oh, YUM/people in Calif. miss out when they don't visit places in the Midwest.Ohio had very nice places to eat also.

Is T.J. Benedict's still around in Grand Rapids? We used to love to eat there. The Mahi-Mahi and the Hazelnut coffee were what kept bringing us back.
