Mainland Australia's Most Easterly Point

I visited Byron Bay to take a break from theme parks while holidaying at Gold Coast, Queensland. We stayed at Coolangatta which is next to New South Wales.

Just under 2 hours drive, we arrived at this small seaside town. We decided to go for a walk at Cape Byron Lighthouse. It was really hard to find a carpark at the lighthouse, so we ended up parking further away and walked up to the lighthouse.

There is a lady selling homemade ice-cream - we had one before the walk and another one when we finished!

The walk itself is very pleasant, the views are spectacular.  A bit of climbing but I would rate it as easy walk.
