Winter, spring, summer or fall -- they're all good times to visit the Golden State, and this hub will seek to address all your California vacation planning needs. You can ski in the Sierras, photograph our deserts or just kick back and watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean when you travel to California. There's truly something for everyone here, from cosmoplitan city culture to Mother Nature at her most breathtaking. Just be sure to bring some sunscreen, and don't forget your camera!

Do you enjoy wine? There's the Napa-Sonoma Wine Country, of course, but don't overlook our Central Coast appellations or those in Gold Country and around Temecula, as well.

Are amusement parks your favorite way to have fun? We have that covered, too. Everyone knows about Disneyland, but the beach boardwalks in Santa Cruz, Santa Monica and Balboa offer amusement park fun with a uniquely California vacation twist.

Here's the Beach Boys doing a little Mamas and Papas Summer of Love number to get you in the mood...

Being a Californian now, I know how much there is to do. Hard to work it all in. Glad you covered some of the better and lesser known these days.

Great hub, makes me feel quite jealous looking up at the grey sky (from my office window) and the good old English weather!
