Country Cooking Restaurants in South Alabama: 3 Favorite Places

Are you a fan of traditional country cooking? You know what I'm talking about: deep fried chicken, home style vegetables, thick brown gravy, and fruit cobblers with thick crusts. It might be called soul food rather than country cooking in your part of the world.

Even though this style of dining can sabotage just about diet plan, it certainly tastes great. You really can't take a trip to the Deep South without enjoying at least one hearty meal packed with rich, greasy, delicious southern fare!

Nobody knows home cooking like the south. I will be sure to check these places out for dinner after I have brunch at one of the places you suggested at your other hub. http://hubpages.com/travel/Favorite-Sunday-Brunch-...
