Disney Wonder is one of 2 ships owned by Disney Cruise lines - the other is the Disney Magic. This is set to change in 2011 when Disney Dream is launched and 2012 for the Disney Fantasy. Disney Cruise line is one of the most popular and best regarded cruise lines in the world. And for good reason. Not just a cruise line for families, Disney brings that very special magic to everyone whatever their age. Disney cruise line has also made a lot of effort to capture adult cruisers who are sailing without children.

So if you are looking for some of that very special mix of Disney luxury, attention to detail and high levels of fun then you will want to take a tour around the Disney Wonder. And learn where the Disney Wonder can take you right up to 2012.

From the moment that you step on board the Disney Wonder Cruise Ship you know that you are heading for a lot of fun. For those who have not experienced it then it is a little difficult to define what really makes a Disney cruise so special. It is true that often Disney cruises are a little more expensive than the same itinerary with a different cruise line. So is it really worth the extra? Well all those who return time after time would say a definite yes. Many passengers who have cruised with other cruise lines count Disney as their favorite.

For families the Disney Wonder is ideal. The Disney kids programs are amongst the very best at sea. But there is also plenty to do for the adults - from pure relaxation to onboard activities.

Disney has never ventured to Alaska before - but by all accounts these Alaskan cruises for 2011 are booking very well. So if you want to be sure of your choice of sailing then think about booking as far ahead as you can. Having just returned from a non Disney Alaskan cruise I would personally recommend this trip of a lifetime. Sailing on a Disney ship just has to be the icing on the cake to experience this amazing place.

Disney Cruise with Mickey and Minnie Mouse

Disney Wonder Mexican Riviera Cruise 2011

The Disney Wonder will sail the very popular 7 night Mexican cruise starting on January 17th 2011. The last sailing of the early 2011 season will sail on April 17th.

The Disney Wonder will then return to Los Angeles and sail the same Mexican itinerary starting on 25th September and the final 7 day Mexican cruise  on 18th December 2011

  • Sunday Los Angeles
  • Monday At Sea
  • Tuesday At Sea
  • Wednesday Puerto Vallerta
  • Thursday Mazatlan
  • Friday Cabo San Lucas
  • Saturday At Sea
  • Sunday Los Angeles
I have already booked my Disney Mexican cruise for 2011 and by booking early got an excellent choice of balcony connecting staterooms at a very reasonable price. It remains to be seen of course whether Disney will start discounting these cruises some time late 2010 - but my guess would be that the earlier you book the better deal you get. Guests have been waiting a long time for a Disney ship to return to the West Coast and I would bet that certainly for the first year these cruises will sell out.
