Face your fears... Dive with sharks!

What is one of the seemingly most crazy things you can do while diving the reefs in the ocean? Sure there are many crazy things you can do while diving, but what is the one thing that most people fear while diving? You guessed it... Sharks! If you want to face your fears and get up close and personal with the top predators of the seas, this article is for you. Read on for some of the best shark diving destinations in the Caribbean!

So you want sharks? Sharks are some of the most misunderstood creatures on the planet. Most people see them as a top predator that is out to eat everything, including people. A top predator they are indeed, however, out to kill everything in site including humans they are not! I'm not expecting you to jump out of your seat now and scream that you were foolish and are no longer afraid of sharks. If you are ready to see for yourself that sharks are actually quite afraid of you as a diver and try to get close to them, one of the best first places to go is the Bahamas.

Stuart Cove's Nassau Bahamas Aqua Adventures - Nassau, Bahamas

If you want diving with sharks, Stuart Cove dive charter can bring it to you on your vacation. I mean, where else can be better for diving with sharks for the first time than the Bahamas?! The Bahamas boast some of the most clear and pristine waters in all of the Caribbean with reefs in shallow depths in the 20ft - 60ft range. Pretty much any diver of any level can find a dive site right for them. But that's not why we are here. We are here to dive with sharks!

The sharks you will most likely find on your Stuart Cove shark dives will be Caribbean reef sharks. These sharks are responsible for very few attacks of which none were fatal and are usually shy and keep their distance when divers are around. The Caribbean reef shark grows up to 10ft. Stuart Cove charter will take you on a 2 tank dive which will include both a "free swim" and a feeding. The first of these dives you will swim freely with the sharks and observe them in their habitat without their natural feeding response. The second dive is a shark feeding where you will be kneeling on the bottom and observe a professional shark feeder feed the sharks. You will dive a combination of 2 of 4 locations according to Stuart Cove. The combination will either be "Shark Wall" and "The Arena" or you will dive "Runway Wall" and "The Runway". If you should choose to dive with Stuart Cove, you will be sure to see some amazing sharks guaranteed! That means bring your camera. This is a great entry level dive with sharks. You get to dive with the Caribbean reef shark with trained professionals and observe a feeding.

The price for the shark dive with Stuart Cove is $150 pp. This does not include hotel or meals, and it is only for the 2 tank shark dive. Aggressor Fleet- Okeanos Aggressor - Cocos Island, Costa Rica

Cocos Island off of Costa Rica is an amazing diving destination that is riddled with different types of sharks as well as other interesting marine life. Who better to take you on an amazing scuba diving trip than Aggressor Fleet! Diving from the Okeanos Aggressor will allow you to see many different species of sharks including hammerheads, tiger sharks, white tips, whale sharks, and even rays. This destination will quite possibly offer more shark species than any other. Aggressor Fleet also has a charter that goes to the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Equador. On the Galapagos Islands dive, you can see hammerheads, white tips, and galapagos sharks as well as eagle and golden rays. You may even get lucky enough to see a Manta Ray. This is a big one.

Aggressor Fleet has nice boats at amazing locations. If you are looking to dive with some exotic species of sharks, especially the infamous hammerhead shark, Aggressor Fleet has you covered. You will not be staying at a resort or even on land for that matter. The Okeanos Aggressor is a liveaboard and has some of the best accommodations you can demand. The rate at the time of this writing based on double occupancy for the Okeanos Aggressor is $4,635 for a deluxe room and $4,235 for a quad room. There are no hidden fees, period. This price includes room and board, meals, dives, and a ten-day charter. The only catch is that there is no guarantee that you will see any of the aforementioned marine wildlife, including the sharks. They may be there or they may not. Aggressor Fleet- Baja Aggressor - Isla Guadalupe and The Revillagigedos Islands

This takes shark diving to a whole new level. How do you feel about diving with a great white shark? Now this is what it's all about. When most people think great white shark they think Jaws and sure death. Well, you can get the experience of diving with a great white sure enough with the Baja Aggressor! You will get 4 1/2 days of great white shark cage diving. Once again, it is with the Aggressor Fleet so you are getting a luxury liveaboard with awesome diving. Also, as with the previous destination listed above, everything is included. Meals, room and board, dives, and 4 1/2 days of great white shark cage diving!

This cost of this shark dive has two different prices depending on which you are choosing.

The Isla Guadalupe prices are as follows:

The Revillagigedos Islands prices are as follows:
