Things to Do In Cincinnati, Ohio.
There are many fun activities in the Cincinnati area including
- water parks
- ball parks
- balloon glow
- botanical gardens
- and even a life size replica of Noah's ark (opens July 7th)
From my personal experience the Cincinnati Zoo is definitely worth visiting. We are from NC and at the North Carolina Zoo we can see animals far off if we use a pair of binoculars which is not the best. But at the Cincinnati zoo the animals are easy to see without binoculars! I really appreciated how close the parking was to the Zoo. Prices can be a little high but Military get in free on the 4th of July and if you purchase your tickets at Kroger you get a $2 off per ticket for adults and $1 off per child.
All members of the military — active and retired — will receive FREE admission to the Zoo on Memorial Day, July 4 and Veteran’s Day. The offer also allows military personnel to purchase up to six (6) half-price admission tickets for members of their immediate family." http://cincinnatizoo.org/plan-your-visit/discounts/

I have never visited this aquarium but I really hope we get a chance to next time we visit the area. Their website says, "There are a lot of fun things to do.... You can play with penguins, touch sharks, see animals and fish being fed and even go behind the scenes."
There are over 7,000 aquatic creatures from around the world at this aquarium.
For the comfort of guests, Newport Aquarium accommodates strollers most hours, but not all. This is very important information for anyone with young children in strollers. Be sure you visit during hours where strollers are allowed.
Sharkys Cafe offers sweet treats, coffee, burgers, wraps, and more. If your an annual pass-holder you will receive 15% off your order. If you are a member of a local state zoo already you may be eligible to get in to this zoo for 50% off regular admission price.
