Hong Kong Photos

When I was in Hong Kong a few years ago I bought a DVD camcorder. There are many places in Hong Kong to get a good deal on electronics such as cameras and camcorders because there is no tax in electronics. Hong Kong is considered as one of the most economically free countries in the world, meaning there is little government intervention in the market and there are low taxes. In how I remember it, they only tax alcohol and cigarettes in order to discourage their citizens from drinking or smoking.

These photographs were taken with the said camcorder. Obviously camcorders aren't really made for taking pictures. But I was able to trip out on Adobe Photoshop and create some interesting looking effects and colors. In this article I will be showing you some of the photographs I took when I was there in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong for Travel Photography

There are a lot of photo opportunities in Hong Kong and it is a great place for doing travel photography because of their unique culture that is influenced by western ideologies but still is able to keep their own cultures and traditions. There are a lot of street food and unique stuff that you can only find in Hong Kong that are perfect for photography. If you are thinking of traveling and you are interested in taking photographs of people and cultures then Hong Kong is the perfect place for you. At the same time you can get affordable deals on your photography equipment needs and other electronics you want to buy such as laptops and so on.

I love these photos, what camera and lens did you use. I'm just starting out with a DSLR.
