We are a mature friendly N/S honest couple looking for the right house sitting position from November for a few months somewhere it isn't too hot so I can write my book as well as explore new places !
If the house is in Australia then we can stay in our caravan while we are house sitting there .
We would lover to travel overseas and house sit in the USA- England or Greece .
Neville is an electrician / has a deckhand licence and worked as a care taker , I have been a live in Nanny /sales person.
We worked together as Camp Hosts in Bournda National Park a while back which was an enjoyable experience !.

There are more and more house sitting sites coming on the Internet where you can pay to register & look for house sitting jobs all over the world however it does get expensive after a while to belong to these sites like housesitters.com, happyhousesitters.com or housecarers.com .
Other ways to find house sitting jobs are by putting adverts on notice boards if you are in the area you require a house sitting position .
If you are after a housesitting position in a certain town or city then you might want to place an advert in the local newspaper .
Make sure you writer a catchy advert so it will get noticed !
Petsitter Available
Most people who want a housesitter do so because they have a pet or many pets that need looking after and like the idea of them being in their own environment .
I have been a pet sitter in the past traveling to peoples homes while they are away to feed & water dogs, horses, cats and even alpacas + a snake or 2 !
As well as looking after other peoples animals I have had my own lambs, calf + chickens , ducks , rabbit, cats and a dog over the years !
If you really don't like animals then make sure you don't house sit where they need animals looking after. It is not fair to the owners or the animals.
Other things that could be asked of you is to water the garden or inside plants, empty the mailbox daily etc.

Show Respect
If you do get a chance to do some housesitting then show respect for the people you are housesitting for.
Follow the guidelines they have set out for you such as
No smoking in the house
No partying & having guests over
Keep the house clean
Be at the house for the amount of time you promised to be there.
Be friendly to any neighbors nearby .
Do the jobs that were agreed upon when you took the position.
Don't abuse their trust by going through things that are off limit to you .
