Snaps of My Village

First of all tell you one thing. I love my village very much. As we all know, the two places were we feel most comfortable are our own bed room and the native place (I do believe like this)

I am working in a place that is far from my native and used to visit my home monthly. So whenever I get leave I will be busy to pack my luggage to go home.

So let me tell you about my village. This beautiful coast land is situated in Northern Part of Kerala. Main Peculiarity of this village is that you can find most part is surrounded by river. So if you walk sometimes you will be reaching a riverside

Nowadays people used to travel a lot to have different experiences other than their routine life style. Me also love traveling. My village is also like a tourist spot. Here you can experience Sunrise, Beautiful Sunset near riverside. Day time trekking to the deepness of Coconut Lagoons etc.

Main cultivation is coconut and lots of people earning a living from Toddy tapping. Even my uncle is toddy taper. The favorite moments that I have been enjoying are with my friends.

Main mode of transport is Bus. But to reach bus stop we have to cross a river. There was a small boat service for this and now after long struggle of village people there is a walking bridge to cross the river.

In spite of all the limitations of infrastructure and amenities I love this place and I love to live here only. Let us have a look on some pictures of my village

You are a lucky one, Sukritha to call this place home, but unlucky to work away from it. Hope you manage to settle there one day.

Beautiful pictures, Sukritha!

Hello Sukritha, Happy to see you again after a long gap. Very nice Hub by you ! You are so lucky to be born in Kerala, The God's Own Country. Really Kerala villages are worthy enough to compare with paradise. The villages having backwaters, rivers, coconut farms and hills are easily attracting any one visit there. Our native place Cumbum, Theni district, Tamilnadu is lying on the border of Kerala. Kumily, Thekkady, Cumbum mettu, Kootaaru, Ramakkal mettu and Kattappana are some nearby places noted for beautiful ever green forests elevated upto 1200 metre from msl. We often visit Cumbum mettu and Kootaaru to enjoy peacful and beautiful atmosphere with chill weather.

This is getting a bit more sbeiuctjve, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of neighbors will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune Social is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
