Finding Cigar Friendly Cruise Ships

Here is a List of Cigar Friendly Cruise Ships

If you are one who enjoys cruising the seven seas and still wants to enjoy their past time of cigars your options are getting limited. Along with luxurious accommodations, fine dining and first class service many hope that cigar smoking is still allowed. The opportunity for travel from one port to another and getting to enjoy those are why many of us travel.

Unfortunately, many of the cruise lines have begun to impose strict smoking policies that have made it difficult for cigar smoking travelers. However, a few luxury cruise ships will accommodate those who wish to indulge in their cigar smoking past time.

Cigar Smoking on Cunard’s Queen Mary 2

The Queen Mary 2, which was launched by Cunard in 2004, is probably one of the more cigar friendly luxury cruise ships. The Churchill Cigar Lounge is a prominent feature in the Queen Mary 2. The lounge offers cigar smokers the luxuries of custom leather and wood décor throughout. You will find cigar art along with a good-sized humidor stocked with a nice variety of quality cigars such as Montecristos and Partagas. The adjacent Commodore Club offers those cigar smokers a nice selection of fine spirits as well to enjoy.

Cigar Smoking on Royal Caribbean

Freedom of the Seas is one of the more family friendly cruisers in the Royal Caribbean line. With an ice rink and a wave machine there is much to keep a family happy on this ship. However, the ship also gives it’s adult cigar smokers a place to enjoy their time. The connoisseur Clubs offer a modern décor and a wide selection of ports and brandies to be enjoyed with Arturo Fuente, C.A.O., Rocky Patel and Davidoff cigars.

Cigar Smoking on Crystal Cruises

Two ships in the Crystal line offer a place for cigar smokers. The Crystal Serenity and Symphony both have a Connoisseur Club that offers Cuban cigars such as Punch and Partagas. These lounges also offer ports, brandies to compliment those cigars.

Cigar Smoking on Various Other Ships

You will find a few ships that tend to have favorable cigar smoking policies. Those would include the SilverSea and their Champagne Room and humidor and the Norwegian Cruise line with it’s Cigar Bars. You will need to verify with the cruise line their policies to cigar smoking. Some ships allow cigar smoking on balconies or in the stateroom, others in designated areas outside on the deck.

Some people will find this quite useful, as I hear smoking isn't allowed on so many cruise ships.
