I Want To Break Free
We renamed the Sunwapta Falls, in Jasper National Park, Alberta Canada to "Nick’s Rock", when we visited these awesome falls a few years back.
We were awestruck by the sheer power and beauty of these incredible falls, quietly overlooked and protected by the grandeur and magnificence of the majestic Rocky Mountains.
This is where The Rock had come to rest.
Like a magnet it draws you in, it’s captivating, hypnotising, it’s authority radiating boldly,
All eyes are focused on The Rock.
Is today the day it finally falls?
Who can look away and miss that moment?
I Want to Break Free
Many years have drifted by
Since this became my home
I look North and South
Upriver and down
What else is there
Washing over me
Push me more
Let me loose
I want to break Free
Let your current
To join you
Pleasure of Freedom
Written for you Nick, Louise and Derek.
A wonderful memory of the glorious day that Nick was completely enraptured and mesmorised by "Nick’s Rock".
