Javea Holidays

Looking for a Holiday in the Costa Blanca?

The Costa Blanca in Spain is a very popular holiday destination for European Tourists, most tourists hail from the UK and most vacationers will stay at the large resorts like Benidorm which is an amazing and vibrant city for holiday makers. Many holiday makers are now using holiday resorts on the Costa Blanca which is now increasing in popularity.

A Resort in the Costa Blanca is Javea, its about the same size as Benidorm but does not have the high rises that Benidorm boasts making it a much more quaint and intimate place to visit. Javea is a town a few miles north of Benidorm. The town lies in a large bay between the peninsulas of "La Nao" and "San Antoni", most of the holiday area is located in the Arenal beach where most of the holiday villas are located and lots of tourist restaurants, cafes and shops to keep you occupied.

At night time in Juavea Port the promenade is full of craft stalls and it is a huge night time attraction for hand made goods and has a great atmosphere. It is definitely a must if you are looking for jewelry or hand made goods. There are also plenty of artists along the promenade who will do your portrait in a number of different styles. In September the port is also home to the Spanish bull-fighting festival and in July the Moros and Christianos carnival is also a must see event.

Stroll down the old town for an authentic part of Javea, take in the beautiful traditional spanish architecture and visit the church of San Bartolome which was built in the 12th century. There are plenty of lovely backstreets to explore and some lovely quaint little shops in this traditional little town.

There is definitely plenty to see and to in Javea and if you plan a trip or a holiday to spain, it is well worth planning Javea Holidays for the family.
