- Klong Dao

Firm as safe swimming area, Klong Dao Beach has become the leading family beach in Lanta Yai. If visitors move to northern part of the area, they can find Kaw Kwang Beach, which recognized “Deer Neck” on it appearances.
- Klong Kong

- Klong Nin

- Kaw Kwang

Getting to Lanta Yai

Either Krabi Town or Ao Nang is the best ground to the island. Phuket, which takes longer in journey, is another alternative spot. Consequently, try to skip Phuket if does not necessarily. Ferry, boat, and car ferries are the transportation to Koh Lanta Yai. Overall, Ferry is the best.
The island deals with tropical weather every year, which means there are only hot season from November to March and rainy season from April to October. In hot season, the climate fewer hot, especially from November to January. Compared with the other parts of Thailand, the circumstance breeds massive rain in Lanta Yai, particularly from May to October. Tourists who visit Koh Lanta in rainy season, they still have a chance to achieve beautiful experience, even some rainfall, and clarity of the sea may not be as fair as at hot season.
Maybe Koh Lanta Yai is not famous as Koh Phi Phi, Ao Nang, Koh Samui, and Patong. However, never belittle Lanta Yai, which offers extraordinary experience to vagabonds, who prefer silence sense in Thailand.
