Mall of Georgia Atlanta Mall Review
Mall of GA Address
3333 Buford Drive
Buford, GA 30519
Mall of GA
While in Atlanta site seeing and checking out the malls, I really wanted to go into the Mall of Georgia. It had been such a long time since I had walked through, and I can't recall ever walking through the entire mall.
This was the trip to do it on.
The drive from the hotel was about 20 minutes, which wasn't too bad, but once we got to the mall, we were disappointed. Knowing that there were over 200 stores in the mall to check out, we were all really hoping to have something really different other than clothing fads and typical mall shops.
My favorite store was Williams-Sonoma, which is like a kitchen store. It had tons of different goodies in there, ranging from cookware, seasonings, bakery mixes, bake ware, and tons of other tools and products that could be used in the kitchen. This store won't appeal to most people, but it was by far my favorite store, and the only store that I bought anything out of.
The worst part of the the mall, was walking up to the third story to find that the trek up the stairs just led us to a movie theater, and nothing else to check out. Otherwise, when leaving, it seemed as though all the smokers were piled outside by the entrance/exit right in front of the building; for a non-smoker, this (plain and simple) sucked having to walk through just to go to the parking lot.
Check Out The Mall
Would I recommend checking the mall out and walking through it? Sure, why not? Just because I didn't see anything that overly interested me, that doesn't mean that you won't. I'm not much of a shopper, so just walking around the mall was plenty for me. I don't have to buy something in every store, nor do I get overly excited when I see a store I've never seen before.
If the store is different or out of the ordinary, then I'm sure to walk through it and see what all they have, but if it's just another clothing store, I'm probably not going to walk through, unless I'm looking for something in particular.
I'm just not a bigger shopper, so yes, I would still recommend checking out the Mall of Georgia because not everyone is like me. I realize that there are many who enjoy shopping. I'm just a window shopper, and there are many things and people to look at while walking through the two stories filled with stores.
Remember the third story is there, but the entire floor is the IMAX theater. There won't be much shopping done there.
