Great sights to see in Idaho
Looking for a great vacation place? I ask you have you seen all that our country has to offer? Right out of school I did just that, here are some pictures taken from various places in Idaho. A state that before hand I only knew for potatoes, turned out to have a treasure trove of natural beauty. People come from all over to base jump off of Snake River Canyon bridge. As others come to see the rock formation known as Balanced-Rock. Makes you wonder how it stays up there.
Deserts and Caves
Whether you enjoy the dry heat of this wonderful state or their miles and miles of blue skies and desert. While in Shoshone, me and a friend discovered the best little cave. The temperature was over 100 , but as we got further down in the cave. Ice was visible everywhere and it was a mere 26 degrees! Talk about a quick cool down!
Twin Falls, Id
One of the best scenes that I found in this state was in Twin falls, Idaho. Named obviously for it's beautiful waterfalls. After a nice hard rain, the falls would fill and a rainbow was never far away.
Rock climbing is also another outdoors sport here, there is plenty of rock to hang off of. I will admit I tried it and was not so good, but the few times I did the view was heavenly. Idaho is also known for white water rafting in the spring and you can even mine for your own gems. So, if wanted to stay a day or bring your camping gear and stay a week. You will find plenty to do and see here.
