Norwegian Escape 2016 - 2017: The Newest NCL Cruise Ship

If you combined the features of both the Getaway and Breakaway ships of the Norwegian Cruise Line and added some extra upgrades and a little touch of flare, you would have the Norwegian Escape. Due to take its maiden voyage out of Hamburg on October 25th, 2015, this ship will undoubtedly have you feeling as luxurious as a Norwegian.

Rather than a godmother, this will be the first ship to have a "godfather." Pitbull (Armando Christian Perez) will christen the ship on November 9th in Miami, Florida. He will also be performing onboard.


Accomodations

The following is a description of the vast amount of accommodations offered aboard the newest luxury ship from NCL.

The Haven

The Haven is the most luxurious class of accommodations on the NCL Escape. There are eight different styles in the Haven and they are all top of the line, all of which include 24 hour service with a butler, their own bar, their own restaurant and 2 balconies. A courtyard and a private gym are also part of the Haven which requires a special key card for Haven guests only. If you are looking for a trip for just you and one other person, the Haven Spa Suite with Balcony is the smallest of the choices. On the other hand if you're looking into a family vacation or are bring a couple friends for the ride, the 1,307 sq. ft. Deluxe Owner's Suite with Large Balcony is the best it can get with an incredible view and anything else you can ask for.

Mini-Suite

Mini Suites are the way to go if you are looking to have more room then just a normal stateroom. It offers a queen or king size bed and usually sleeps up to four depending on what size Mini-Suite you get. The most luxurious of all the Mini-Suites is the Spa Mini-Suite with balcony. Combining the best of the Mini and Spa Suites, this room fits up to three people and offers easy access to the spa as well as a pull out sofa bed.

Spa Stateroom

The Spa Stateroom is a 309 sq. ft. paradise. Most spa staterooms include a balcony with a king size bed and hot tub that will have you feeling like a king or queen for your voyage on the seas. This is the perfect room for a couple looking to spend a spa quality vacation together. With spa themed rooms and linens, and access to the thermal spa suite, you'll be sure to be pampered, with comfort and a nice view for good measure.

Balcony Stateroom

A balcony stateroom is perfect for the whole family. This is the last room available with a balcony on board the Escape. You can fit the whole family in one room or you can get a connecting stateroom for a little more privacy or space. This comfortable 239 sq. ft. room is located right near the kids area, so easy access and comfort for parents to relax while still monitoring the little ones. You'll relax comfortable in 2 double beds which can convert to a queen bed...you know in case you're the kind of person that likes options.

Oceanview Stateroom

These spacious rooms offer a window facing the open seas and is an excellent option if you are looking for a view instead of an actual balcony. These rooms can accommodate up to 5 guests depending on how you set up this transformable room.

Inside Stateroom

Inside Staterooms vary from 135-201 sq. ft. They can fit up to four people and are the perfect fit for anyone who doesn't mind not having an outside view. There are plenty of outside views on the ship so many people usually don't mind not having a view in their room. The perfect size for the perfect price.

Studio

The studio is perfect for anyone traveling on their own. It is the smallest of all the staterooms but if you're by yourself it will be plenty spacious. This 100 sq. ft. room has its own stand up shower and access to the studio lounge. There is also a one way window into the corridor so you can see out, but others can't see in.

2015 - 2016 Itineraries

2015:

The Norwegian Escape will depart on its maiden voyage out of Hamburg, Germany and sail to London for a 2 night one stop journey. From there it will go on a 10-Night Transatlantic journey to Miami where the ship will be permanently based out of. Escape will take its first voyage out of Miami on November 14th, 2015 where the Itinerary will be the same same throughout April 2016.

2016:


The ports of call for the Ship out of Miami are: St.Thomas, Tortola and Nassau, with round trip sailing from Miami. The cruise is titled as a 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise.
