As Fernand Braudel, famous connaisseur of the Mediterranean commented: Living is exchanging, trading information. This nowadays is more true than ever. And not especially in the Mediterranean area.
The change in the way we work asks for our action and not to sit around. The ways many people work get more flexible all the time. Production areas shift from West to East and in between. There are no agreements on the limits on how fast on how far the changes go, we only know that it probably will not leave to affect you.
For changes in the past we can predict the following advice for where to settle in the next five years. To give a prediction any longer would be not wise as the changes go by the same period they did. This is a personal advice and based on changes in the past and we would like to see a pattern in this. Note it also are regions where the chances are, with the words of Kenichi Ohmae (2006).
-Arhus (Denmark): In the middle of booming Denmark and still see chances in investment. With different banks.
-Berlin and Dresden (Germany) Again after the past century in the heart of Europe. And with new expansion possibilities to the East and investments form the government in buildings. Also sales work for example at callcentra.

WHERE TO LIVE IN EUROPE
We can see analyzing the changes that the economical centre is shifting towards the East of Europe (E.g. economical growth figures in Germany, Poland, and the Baltic States). The prediction is also based on the expansion of the European Union and the fact that there are a lot of labour forces and on the economic growth of the last ten years. The Nordic States are relative untouched in their economic growth and the prediction is they will continue to flourish. The trend we can see that the economic centre of Europe is shifting to the North and the East. And the significance of regions in Europe instead of nations is growing with the more complex relationships in the world (Ohmae, 2006).
Where are new chances for you? Where lay your strength and you capacities? And where would you like to live to have the best quality of life for you and your family?
After all that is said and done, quality of life cannot be measured only in statistical figures. Important is how you feel with your life and what you make of it. I hope we contribute to this feeling with this article.
2 APPLY AND PERSONAL BRANDING
You can apply on various effective ways. Networking is often the most effective. Do not expect personal advantage in front. See what you want to give. The most effective way for me the last years was through Internet. Flex agencies are seemed to lose their importance. In the next few years there could be a revival despite of personal branding. Other ways employees in the future are found for example are by SMS, Facebook, Linkedin , digital platforms and so on and on.
People more and more get to be their own brand. Therefore it is important you do something that fits with you. People like people who are real. If you do something that not fits you this is not real. The people surrounding you automatically sense what is not real. Your brand should be reliable, remarkable and valuable to others. Your value for example could be:
- What is your contribution to the firm? What does the firm need?
- What do you have that other people do not have?
- For example what education do you have?
So please do what you are good at and the difference will show. People are remarkably smart and find out when you do every day and if you do not like it. Do you see an accountant working as and a circus clown? Could be, if he plays his role, but the question in that case remains: For how many years? So please be authentic, you’d better do what you are good at and ignore what you are not good at. For yourself and others then you will get the most respect by doing what you belief in.
Remember what you like to do best and then tell to others what you can offer. You can ask others if they see a difference in the way you behave when you talk about it. For example give a short presentation about yourself. What would drive you the most do the rest of your life?
In your life you deal with a lot of government agencies. For example the unemployment agency. Do you know any of those ? What is your experience with them? Ignore the horror stories please remember the people who work there are also human.
When you get to the unemployment agency, for example the UWV in Holland, you will be asked questions. Please be polite to any of the possible and absurd questions, however irrelevant to the situation and they might look to you. Answer all their letters. Even if they make the same mistakes over and over, remember, they are doing their jobs and there can be taken responsible.
You might be tempted to react angry. Remember: This will do you no good and this can lead to the government agency will not to be so willing to help you. If for any reason want to come over to your home, please do refuge politely. They are not in the authority to do so. Maybe they will try.
If they ask you the same question for the fifth time do not blame then. They still have to learn to communicate and cooperate. They have not learned that in the past. Please therefore do not blame them. And when they come with the wrong information again please still be patient. After all then they can write a new letter and you may want to start the whole procedure again. This could be in your advantage with a negative decision.
I would say that the importance of a good education can hardly be underestimated. What do you think yourself? A fine education has the following advantages:
-Often a better salary
-Often a longer life
-The knowledge to deal with changes.
A way to beat a crisis is often a way of education to change for a job. Education in that way you see get a chance to work on your future. No work, then please follow an education. Do what you like and what you do best. At your own individual level. Nobody is perfect. Does not matter what you do, as long as U do it.
Is there an education you would like to follow? And what time does it mean? Can you make small steps of them? Discuss with others how realistic it is to follow an education now.

CHANGES IN WORK
Differences in modern working will not leave you unattended. Personal branding gets more and more important. You usually are expected to switch from employer every few years. It also depends on what profession you do. See for example the following article.
The new working mentality (Randstad 2010)
The new work is not only home and fill your own hours. There is a mindset change is needed. Most importantly a new balance. For managers is that a balance between control and trust, and employee work-life balance.
Microsoft began five years ago with the introduction of the new works. The company did this in response to a pamphlet from Microsoft executive Bill Gates, which he called for a new working mentality. 3 ON IDENTITY
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WHEN YOU FEEL YOU CANNOT CONNECT TO THE WORLD? WHEN YOU CANNOT CONNECT TO ANYONE? ARE YOU GOING TO LET IT REST OR ARE YOU GOING TO TAKE THE POSITIVE THINGS AND USE THEM? THIS COURSE IS FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DO THE SECOND OPTION. WITH THIS COURSE WE WOULD LIKE TO REINFORCE THE POWER WHICH IS PRESENT WITHIN EVERY PERSON. WITH PRACTICAL EXAMPLES WE WOULD LIKE TO SHOW HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR OWN IDENTITY. FOR EXAMPLE BY SHOWING WHERE YOUR COMPETENCIES ARE; BY ADDING TO YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SO ON. FIRST TO GET INTO IT, WITHOUT HESITATION; TWO BY PRACTICAL EXERCISES.

So what is the situation, the task you should do, what is the action you did and what is the result? If you for example have to bake a cake, how would you do it? Sometimes it is convenient to break up the task in three different parts and make it a time-limited task. For example write down which groceries you need, buy the groceries and then take them home. Write down and take them home you can do in 5 minutes. It would be more realistic to spend 15 minutes shopping for them. And did you make the cake? Of course this is an example.

QUALITY OF LIFE
OF course THER IS MUCH MORE TO YOU THAN YOURCOMPETENCIES AND YOUR GOALS. WHOM DO YOU SPEND TIME WITH? WHAT CONNECTS YOU TO OTHER PEOPLE? WHAT IS IDENTITY? I for example support the opinion of Elaine Aaron in ‘High Sensitive Persons’, identity is only partly the culture and habits where you grew up with. Also there is part within you that is autonomous and where also lies your strength, apart from you experience and knowledge. It is that part we connect to when everything seems to go wrong, where you cannot refer to in time of need. It can help you, it is responsible for creation, it can inspire you and it can bring joy in what you do. Is it intuition? Is it flow? There seems to be a lot of discussion about it, and here we would like to see what it brings you.
What part of your plans do you feel can come true? From deep within which part you know is coming true. Please note you can do this exercise another time in the future, for example at the place you like the most, where you feel comfortable.
Of course there are different religious traditions, like for example
-Buddhism. You can define it as a way of looking at life. It defines existence as being a flow, where the individual can alter his ego.
-Jewish. Central is the idea of God who makes a holy bound with the people in the World.
-Catholicism. A tradition where Jesus love, who give his life to dedicate to other people, is central.
-Islam. The prophet Mohammed carried out the word of Allah. To be continued until now and further.
