Photo Gallery: A Tribute to Paris
The world watched in horror as the tragedy unfolded on the streets of Paris on Friday evening. It is unimaginable and incomprehensible that something of this magnitude could happen to Paris. For many of us, Paris is – and will always be – a city of timeless beauty, charm, elegance, romance, culture and arts. Violent bloodshed, senseless massacre, fears, angers, sadness have nothing to do with Paris. Never.
The photos in this gallery remind us of the true Paris, not the Paris that has been shown on the news lately. Taken this past summer (August 2015), these photos show the City of Light during daytime, and in the evening when the city comes to life and is full of joie de vivre. The Paris that we all love.
