Nice hub. I am from Manila but I was fortunate to work in Davao from 2000 to 2006. Stayed in Marco Polo during those years and I've been to all municipalities as far as Boston Davao Sur. Planned to settle there in 2003 but bombings then scared my family. Looking forward to go back to Davao next year. Thanks for this hub. Brought back great memories.

But now, rest assured your safety here in Davao. Recently, Davao has been declared as the safest city in the Philippines... So, I think it might be a good idea if you wanna settle here. But of course, Manila is wonderful too. I've been there the other month and I did really enjoy... I like Makati...:D
