Playa Tropical a must-visit resort north of the Philippines
A two-hour’s drive from Vigan City is Currimao a town where the Playa Tropical is situated. It is about a half hour trip from Laoag. A must-see beach resort in Ilocos Region, Playa Tropical is truly captivating place to see and behold. The Balinese concept is evident in the resort's architecture as it combines well with the ocean. The resort offers 30 rooms on its hotel and several private villas (Tierra, Fuego, Agua and Viento) for those who wanted to have some more privacy.
The resort is also teeming with outdoor cabanas that are perfect for those who yearn to have a meal on a romantic garden setting. There is also a promenade here that is nice for wedding, seminars and even team building activities. A high-end resort, Playa Tropical has an infinity pool that has some parts that are shallow enough for the children to swim safely.
A villa here can accommodate up to 8 persons. The garden bedroom here is good for two persons and the bedroom in the second floor, however, is huge enough to house up to 6 persons.
The dining area and the master bedroom are near a private pool which is nice for those who wish to have a late night dips and have complete privacy.
The foods served here indeed mouthwatering and it could rival those from other luxury hotels and high-end resorts. You may try local gourmet here like the “longganisa” (native sausage), “itlog na maalat” (salted egg) and bagnet (dried fish) for a delectable and rewarding meal.
If you intend to have memorable visit or short vacation in the Ilocos Region in the Philippines staying in Tropical Playa is a great and satisfying choice.
