Re-Tweet: Seattle Hempfest Gets New Twitter Account

Updated on April 12, 2012

So many things to do, so little time!

Seattle Hempfest is already getting into the full swing of things, while the rest of the world is busy with spring cleaning and garden plotting. Sure, it's still four months away, but an event that regularly hosts more than 200,000 active festival attenders, takes a lot of work and planning year round! 4 months feels like only 4 days when you're on Hempfest time. And all of that planning doesn't even include the extensive work being put in by volunteers to get the new Hempfest Central up and ready for it's grand opening in Lake City.

So with so many new changes taking place with the store, the customary Myrtle Edwards park and throughout the city, there's bound to be some technical issues here and there - such as a recent issue with the old Seattle HF Twitter account, which is soon to be deactivated. Aside from some small but highly problematic technical twitter issues, HF has also managed to capture a more accurate twitter domain name (@SeattleHempfest), which helps you Hempfest fans access HF whenever you need to.

Keeping contact with all you hempy activists, is ultra important to Hempfest, as we know how much you want to keep up to date with HF's top of the line Membership parties (like the up coming 4/20 party!), discounts and all of the opportunities to volunteer and hang with the crew that brings the best and the biggest pro-pot protestival in the world.

If you haven't already, head to the hempfest website and get your membership so that you can skip the $15 temp membership charge at the door. It's definitely worth it, and depending on the level of membership you get, you can bring several friends for free.
