China Pavillion

China Pavillion is a place that has been around since 1994, and when I think of a good place to get an inexpensive lunch, this place is around the top of my list.If I had to pick my favorite item on the buffet, It would have to be the sesame chicken. I am not sure exactly how they cook it, but it is crunchy but tender at the same time. Like many chinese places, the atmosphere is casual. there are people in there wearing shorts, tea shirts and flip flops, sitting beside guys in suits.

Some of the staff here are not really english conversant, but they know buffet, the drink orders etc. Sometimes the gals are wearing shirts that say inappropriate things, but I am not sure they are aware of that fact. I always wonder, but I have never had bad service here, and the food is always kept fresh on the bar,

Hong Kong Buffet

the Hong Kong buffet is probably one of the cheaper buffet places in Topeka. Their food is fresh and hot, and while they don't have the selection of the larger buffets, they do offer a selection of chinese classics. we seem to load up on fried rice egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken when come here.

depending on food costs the price of buffet can very. The prices are posted at the front door. you can also pay the buffet price and get the buffet to go.

The New China Buffet

the new China buffet is located in the old red lobster building on West 29th. They are one of the larger buffets in town and they offer a great selection of both Chinese favorites and some other things for folks who don't like Chinese. if you don't like Chinese there is pizza , fried chicken, hot wings and a nice salad buffet. in the evenings they offer crab legs peel and eat shrimp and other more expensive items. Like many places this are all-you-can-eat crab legs, you can end up fighting with other customers to get your money's worth but if you have patience I'm sure you'll get your fill.

Panda Buffet

The panda buffet is located in the West Ridge Mall and they offer one of the widest selections of any Chinese buffet in the area. They offer almost any Chinese dish you can think of, plus sushi, crab legs, crayfish, mussels and other seafood.

if you're at the mall and you're hungry and you want to fill up instead of grazing at the food court give Panda Buffet a try.

Hu Hot

Huhot is not your classic Chinese buffet. Here you select your food in uncooked form from a bar, then choose sauces and hand it to the chef to cook.

The meat selections vary by the night. Specific nights have shrimp. It is also a great place for vegetarians, You can plck exactly what you want to eat, and then enjoy it piping hot off the grill.

It is kind of like a little show watching your food get cooked on the huge round grill.
