Maybe many hubbers had read my hub about hotel. I had written series of hotel topic. They are, “Unique Hotel in the World (Part I)”, “Unique Hotel in the World (Part II)", and “The Rule in Hotel”. I think hotel is part of travel topic where we need this place to take a rest. There are many types of hotel around the world with different characteristic based on the origin place. Some of these hotels have a role as the icon of the place. From the hotel we know the different culture and the people as well. A lot of people from different countries stay in together at one place, that’s a hotel.

Based on my passion about something unique, I’ll share about “the best floating hotel in the world”. I thought many people searching about something different. Water is a gift from nature. Water is one of the most important compounds for all life on the earth. Water covers nearly 71% of the earth's surface. There are 1.4 trillion cubic kilometers (330 million mi ³) is available on earth (this information was taken from Wikipedia). Water is so refreshing, made us relax, and united with nature. That’s why most of us love water, even for traveling we must close with water. From this hub, I’ll describe how these hotels looked so beautiful above the water. The gurgling sound of water change the atmosphere becomes more relaxed. Well, floating hotel is a kind hotel built over the water and looks like floating. These hotels usually built from a boat, raft, even with the pedestal made of wood or concrete

Punta Caracol Acqua Lodge, Panama

This hotel is located in Bocas del Toro Panama. It took 15 minutes from the island of Colon which is the closest island with a boat ride. Colon Island is home to tropical beaches, great tracks for mountain biking across the island. This place is a heaven for surfers and sun bathers for its waves and golden sands. We can organize activities and tour at Punta Caracol, like: Snorkeling at the coral reefs of the bay to see lots of tropical fishes, starfishes, and different kind of corals. boat rides, hiking in the rain forest, motorized canoe river trips, boat tours to meet dolphins.

The tourist who stay here and try to dive, they will be pampered with beautiful coral reefs and thousands of marine habitats. Overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Panama Canal made this hotel which was made by arranged wood neatly. The roof structure itself made of palm leaves are arranged in layers. This hotel continues to grow until now, because the tourists who are aware of the importance of green environment. This place has own energy sources which is taken entirely from solar energy.

We can find romantic bungalows at Punta Caracol surrounded by Caribbean marine life and reefs. Because it runs on solar electricity, so we can’t find Air Conditioner but add more romantic circumstances with dim light. These bungalows are lined up to allow views towards tall green mountain, blue water, and the sunset as well. The price of each room is about $ 316 per night.

River Kwai Jungle Raft, Thailand

River Kwai Jungle Raft is located in the heart of the Erawan National Park, River Kwai Resort is just 20 minutes from Pier Resortel with a long tail boat, Kanchanaburi province, Thailand. This hotel was built based on the style of ancient Thailand architecture in the tropical forest. Consisting of 55 bamboo rooms . St. Regis Bora Bora Resort, Polynesia (France)

Bora Bora Resort is beautiful resort which is located on the tropical island of Bora Bora. Mount Otemanu, the island's highest peak, is 5.5 km (3.4 mi) away. Bora Bora is connected to Tahiti & the rest of French Polynesia by plane. It was surrounded by powdery sands and a tranquil lagoon. Bora Bora resort was opened in 2006.

This resort has width about 1,550 square feet to the resort's ultra-luxurious 13,000-square foot Royal Estate. There are eight plus 24 superior overwater one-bedroom villas with their dark wood floors and louvered wooden shades.

What can we find here? Salt and Sill Hotel, Sweden

This hotel is located on the far western side of Tjörn, on the herring island of Klädesholmen, Sweden. It’s only 45 minutes by car from Gothenburg. This hotel has 23 rooms with 46 beds, one of which is a suite (with private roof-top jacuzzi), 5 conference rooms and one restaurant. Salt and Sill is Sweden's first floating hotel and it was built on pontoons in the harbour of a tiny fishing community. This hotel was opened in 2008. With rooms interior typically Scandinavean style, including furniture and weathered wood features. Klädesholmen itself is an old fishing community in which herring was salted and fish prepared.
