Introduction

The Boeing 747 Jet plane became the worlds biggest passenger aeroplane when it was introduced in the 1960's and early 70's. Since then the jet plane has to continued to dominate this field and have continued to make even larger planes. Nowadays a jumbo jet can hold anything up to 600 passengers for a journey of more than 8000 miles, and they can reach speeds of up to 600 miles per hour.
